"100 Salt Lake City Porches, No.96"; Watercolor on 12" x 16" Paper. |
My other dilemma was trying to choose which method of painting it would be best. I was playing with the idea of doing it in an oil but I've opted to do it in watercolor. I started with a couple of layers of flat washes and then worked in the puddle style of watercolor painting. To view the progress of (or to purchase one of) 100 Salt Lake City Porches, click here. Hi, Porch #96 here. We are going to put an eensy chainsaw on Woody's (that's the wooden statue) right hand in a few days. Yes; we do love The Evil Dead II. And thank you so much for this -- I have (tonight) spread your fame far and wide. Well, to an awful lot of my friends. All within North America (husband is Canadian, you see).
Hmmmm. Again, thanks (forced comment by Google ID).
Hi Laurel,
Thanks for your comment. The Evil Dead just in time for the Christmas season. I LOVE it! I hope you and your Canadian are able to make the Art Show on Jan. 14th. I'll send you an invite. And I'll have to swing by to view Woody in a few days.
Thanks,
-JAllgood
